I like to create beautiful, efficient, livable places and spaces. I love helping clients develop and refine their own vision for the places they will live or work. I relish the process of building that vision—on time and within budget.

Greentree Consulting is a natural extension of my personal and professional design and building experience. I grew up in a family that was constantly on the move: nine houses in six cities before I left for college. Mom and Dad had a knack for buying houses in the best areas they could afford. Mom would update bathrooms, add wallpaper or change lighting fixtures—and they would sell later for a modest profit and be off on the next renovation adventure. My grandmother was a trailblazing designer and business woman: I don’t remember a time before I was playing with her samples of fabrics and wallcoverings. My mom let me decorate my room in each new house, and I became quite adept at pushing large furniture about to suit my own evolving sense of design and function.

Naturally enough, I majored in interior design, earning a BS from Virginia Tech, and have worked since graduation in the furniture and design industry—most recently in an executive leadership role on corporate accounts and sales operations.

At Virginia Tech, I met my husband Matt who has been an intrepid partner through five home purchases, renovations, and moves in just ten years. We now live in our (forever??) home in Charlotte, NC on the eponymous Greentree Drive—with our three children, three dogs and one bunny.
